Daiichi Sankyo contributes to relief efforts for Japan earthquake victims // 100 million yen donated to the Japanese Red Cross
Tokyo, March 14, 2011 - Daiichi Sankyo Company, Limited has announced that, through the Japanese Red Cross, it will make a donation of ¥100 million Japanese yen and implement a Matching Gifts program for employee donations to assist victims of the March 11 Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake.
In addition to the Matching Gifts program, evaluation of the feasibility of donating medical supplies to affected areas is ongoing.
The Daiichi Sankyo Group offers its deepest sympathies to those affected by this disaster and sincerely hopes that, with the support of private and public organizations in Japan and all over the world, the regions affected by this catastrophe will be able to begin their rebuilding and healing processes as soon as possible.
